ANGELA LEWIS WRIGHT (MIRACLE CHILD)

In 1999 I was diagnose with Angina a Heard Disease. I had my first Heart Attack at age 37. It was about 02:30 and the pressure in my chest and pain that ran through my back and arms. I could hardly breathe. I didn’t have enough breath to call for help. All 3 of my children were sleep. All I could do was pray. I had a small (Chihuahua) his name was chi-chi.  I ask him to go get help. He did when my kids got to me I had fell to the floor and my breath was almost gone. When I woke up was in the hospital. My Nurse said to me good morning Mrs. Lewis I was your nurse when you came in 3 days ago. I didn’t realize I had been out for 3days.The pain was so bad they had to keep me sedated. My Dr. explained to me that I had a heart of an 80 yr. old lady. Within 4 months later I had two more Heart Attacks and also my first Stroke. The side effects from the stroke cause me not to be able to read correctly and I was very confused and my speech was affected. Later the same year I had too more STROKES which affected my left side. I was very unbalanced and had to wear a patch over my left eye. My left leg wanted to go the opposite way. I kept thanking God. In 2001 I was diagnosed with (CHF) and I was in the hospital at least 2 to 3 more times a month. Because of the fluid buildup around my heart/lungs it was very difficult for me to walk and breathe at the same time. It was a task for me to walk from my bed room to the bath room. Also I was on oxygen it didn't help a lot because my heart was so weak. In 2006 my heart was getting weaker and beating very rapid so the Dr. had to stop my heart from beating to see if he could restart it again to see what was causing the problem. It was a success in 2006 a defibulator/pacemaker (ICD) was inserted because my heart was only beating 30% and was getting weaker.  On 09/18/08 I had Open Heart Surgery and wasn't getting any stronger. My heart beats were fading. In 2008 I was diagnosis with Cardiomyopathy, Secondary Diagnosis Orthotropic cardiac Translation.  I remember I went o the Dr. on a Tuesday which was my scheduled appointment and his report said after trying several different types of medications my heart is not getting better. He suggested that he do Open Heart Surgery the next day. I suggested that I would rather wait but he said if I really wanted to live I should have it done now because if I walked out now my chances is that I wouldn't live. On 09/18/08 I had surgery and this consisted of putting me on an (LVAD).this is an electric heart pump which is internal which is ran by electricity. When unplugged it runs on batteries for about 4 hours.  A patient who is on an (LVAD) does not have a heart beat or pulse or blood pressure. On 12/16/09 I was placed on (UNOS) waiting list for a Heart Transplant at Barnes Jewish Hospital .St. Louis Mo. On 01/15/10 about 011:15 my Nurse called and ask how I'm I doing.I said I was oing fine. She said we have a heart for you. She said we need you here because it is local.I screamed and stated crying, Thank God. The surgery lasted for about 11 to 12 hours but the Dr. kept me sleep for about 72 hours. On 01/17/10 it was a success. I go for a biopsy every month.

Let us Pray

O Gracious God from whom all blessings flow.  We Give You all the praise and the glory for this door of opportunity that has been provided for our partner in prayer, Kay Bridges' son Scott Kilzer whose name has been on a waiting list for a kidney that would match his body.  The match has been found.  There is an old song Lord that says, "You can't hurry God, no, you just got to wait, you got to trust and give Him time, no matter how long it takes.  He's a God you can't hurry,  He'll be there just don't you worry.  He may not come when you want Him, but, He's right on time."  Thank You Lord for the simplicity of life.  Thank You for Your unexpected blessing to Scott.  Thank You for showering Your blessing upon Scott and relieving the worry from his mother, Kay's mind.  Let Your mercy guide the skillful hands of his attending surgeons to insert the kidney properly and let there be no ill effects of any kind, but, allow the kidney to function to its highest potential.  Thank You for Your Grace and Mercy.  In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit Amen.
